On June the 21 st , WISE4All has given its contribution to the online marathon on “#StopCyberbullyingDay – 24h Scholas Talks” organized by Scholas.
The online marathon has gathered together young people, representatives of EU institutions, experts of cyberbullying and Scholas’ partners to talk about the issue of cyberbullying. The online event has been followed by 1544 people from 48 countries in the world. The conference saw the participation of some organizations like UNICEF, Oslo University and European Schoolnet.
During the panel, Valentina Zoccali (Secretary General of S-Com) and Lara Grosso Sategna (Responsible for the Communication of the WISE4All Campaign) from S-Com and Caterina Aiena, expert on ant discriminatory law, have intervened. They discussed about cyberbullying and online hate speech, with a focus on women and other groups that have been excluded from the societal dynamics so far.
