” In the past, the driving force of an enterpise was profitability.
The economic growth of an enterprise was defined only by concepts such as production increase,
consumption increase, income increase.Today, the economic growth of an enterpise means evolution in a sustainable way, thus we need to understand the enterprise’s impact on the territory and the community affected. ¨[…] ” In the past we can find some examples of clever businessmen, like Adriano Olivetti, that had already enacted in the 60’s the current pillars of the Corporate Social
Responsability. Definitely, the succesful business is he who succeeds in creating a model that blends business with social needs. The company must take into account these values, not as a marketing move or a slogan to use in order to raise sales or social approval. This is the only way to develop a more engaging and succesful business model in the long period.”
